This series takes us into the wide and varied world of Ladyboys – from those surgically taking the final step from male to female; to Celebrities; Cabaret showgirls; and beauty pageant hopefuls. We’ll see the lengths to which they go to create the illusion that they are women and we’ll also follow the men who are in relationships with Ladyboys. But we also go deep beneath the sequins and make-up to reveal the powerful stories and painful journeys some have taken to fulfil their dreams.
